Academic Success Foundation Partners with Africa Careers Network to Launch the ELEVATE Program

We are thrilled to announce a strategic partnership between The Academic Success Foundation (TASF) and the Africa Careers Network (ACN) to implement the ELEVATE Program—a transformative initiative designed to prepare young people for the world of work through mentorship, career guidance, and hands-on experience.
Launched in 2024, the ELEVATE Program targets Mastercard Foundation Scholars and Alumni, with the goal of supporting their transition from education to employment or entrepreneurship. Through this partnership, we are working to close the gap between academic training and practical workplace readiness.
The program includes:
- Virtual training sessions focused on leadership, innovation, and professional development
- Team-based innovation challenges across seven key sectors
- Mentorship from industry experts to guide personal and career growth
- Internship placements in reputable organizations across Ghana and beyond
- Job shadowing opportunities to expose participants to real-world environments
This collaboration with ACN ensures that we are not only empowering young leaders but also connecting them with meaningful opportunities across Africa’s job market. The first cohort of the ELEVATE Program includes 140 dynamic scholars and alumni selected from across the continent, reflecting the diverse talent and ambition of Africa’s youth.
At TASF, we believe that every young person deserves a chance to thrive, and this partnership with ACN brings us one step closer to that vision. We are grateful to ACN and the Mastercard Foundation for their trust and collaboration.
Stay tuned for updates as we journey with these young changemakers in shaping the future of work!
